One day when I woke up, I found that I had actually transmigrated into a cat and was in a magnificent and resplendent imperial palace.

I boldly walked into the palace and saw an emperor in a dragon robe sitting inside. The emperor was reading a memorial. When he saw me come in, he put down the memorial and looked at me with great interest.
“This little cat is rather interesting. Come here, someone, bring it to me.” The emperor said.
So, a palace maid came over and gently carried me to the emperor. The emperor reached out his hand and stroked my head, and I comfortably narrowed my eyes.
“I think this cat is very cute. Let it stay by my side.” The emperor said.
Just like that, I became the emperor's pet cat for no apparent reason. The days in the imperial palace were extremely comfortable, with endless delicious food and palace maids and eunuchs serving me. However, I wasn't idle either. With the wisdom from my previous life, I helped the emperor solve quite a few small troubles.
Once, a group of mice suddenly appeared in the imperial palace. These mice scurried around everywhere, making a mess of the imperial palace. The emperor saw that I was so capable and became even more fond of me. He also specially had a luxurious cat kennel made for me, with soft cushions and all kinds of toys in it.
